I am an Indiana-born artist with a lifelong background in acting, music, and creative arts. I started taking photos and shooting film in high school when I took a darkroom photography class, and it remained a passion and hobby of mine ever since. I always loved portrait photography the most, as I find true joy in capturing people in their most authentic expressions of self. I love the raw, honest beauty that naturally emanates from the subject when you create a safe space for them to relax, breathe, have a laugh, and just exist. No pressure.


This is exactly how I approach my headshot & portrait sessions. I'll remind you that I am not an agent, or casting director, or a potential new boss, this is not an interview or an audition, this is just me getting the honor to witness you existing with a camera in my hand and maybe a few extra lights to illuminate your gorgeous eyeballs. As an actor myself, I understand the discomfort that often comes with getting your picture taken, and how having to "turn it on" can trigger feelings of anxiety and the need to fill all kinds of expectations. Before we begin our session, I might encourage you to take a few deep breaths, do a stretch or two, cue up your favorite album, and let go! Of course, you are likely coming in with a specific set of goals for what kind of shots you are needing, and I will help guide and direct you in posing and expressing (and even...acting!) so that it feels natural and real and not awkward or forced. It is my wish for you to walk away feeling like the totality of your authentic, multi-faceted self was honored and celebrated.
